It’s summer , it’s hot so we (Nuno and I) decided to recreate a garden in Mawbey Studios aka our flat for a night full of fun, friends, music food and whatever else comes along…and if you get very drunk or enjoy your evening a lot (which we kinda expect you to) you don’t have to feel guilty as it’s all for a good cause: my birthday wish this year is that all my friends contribute for los Gorriones, the orphanage where I did volunteer work in Peru last year (www.casahogarlosgorriones.org)
OK so this is what you need to do to attend this very exclusive party are so lucky to be invited for:
1- my birthday present: some of your hard earned pounds that I will collect and donate to Los Gorriones (check their site to see the amazing job they are doing with street children and disabled children in Ayacucho an extremely impoverished area in Peru www.casahogarlosgorriones.org)
2 - wear your most scandalous sunglasses, stupid t-shirt, green flip-flops, dotted bikini, vintage hat or whatever you find appropriate for an indahouse garden funny funky b’day party
3 - bring your I-pod, Mp3 player, CD’s, musical instrument if you happen to play one as you may be promoted to one of the lucky entertainers of the evening
4 – drinkables of any sort, kind and alcoholic content, if you are a particular good chef or have hidden culinary skills, then by all means, bring it on - but do not forget, whatever you bring it does have to abide by the strictest Health and Safety Laws (not really, we have Sunday to recover)
5 – very important: a friend, or two, or three
6 – and good mood (indispensable)
7 - let me know in advance that you are coming and how many you are bringing with you
We will do the rest (food, gardening and everything else we care to remember)

Nearest tube/train station - Vauxhall or Stockwell as we are half way through each, roughly a 10 minute walk. Buses from Vauxhall towards Brixton (hey no going towards Camden Town or Marylebone for as appealing as that may be to you at that time and moment!)Oh yes, buses, 2 and 8 stop Thorne Road, which will then be the road you have to go to and is perpendicular to South Lambeth Road, the road you just came on the Bus. Thorne Road is your first turn right and then first turn left into an alley way, you should see some rubbish containers on your left before you start getting in the alley way, you will see that you are already in Mawbey State and 98 is the second set of flats. Confused, you should not!
